Founded in 1962 by Mr. Egidio Sinico, after initial sub-contract manufacturing activities, the Company began the production of hydraulic presses for local market, but its efforts soon shifted to the production of metalworking machine tools, and subsequently a manual machine for motor shaft centering was developed. This became the foundation for Sinico’s production of cutting-off/centering machines (TC models, 1969).
In 1972, the Company created an automatic cut-off rotary transfer machine (TR model). This innovation for bar’s cutting and its associated transfer system increased the number of operations, which could be performed on the workpieces.
During the 70’s Sinico S.p.A. exported abroad 30% of its production proving its international vocation up to the present day to exceed 80%.
During the 80’s the continuous investment, the development of electronics, the introduction of first PLC make the company become world leader in the manufacture of automatic transfer machine.
In 1994 Egidio Sinico’s sons, Alessandro and Giancarlo took the place of their father in the company’s management; nowadays the Company is 100% owned by Sinico Family.
For all the 90’s Sinico products have seen an ever increasing application in the automotive industry where quality and precision are driven to ever higher levels. In those years are introduced new machines capable to work two pieces simultaneously with the integration of dimensional inspection devices.
Since the early 2000 began a race to the innovation dictated by the increasingly rapid step of technical development and by the need to maintain a deep groove compare to competitors that over the years have entered into the market. Those years have seen the development of new series TOP 2000. Main innovation are the use of CNC, the development of a new cutting head and the study of a cutting curve managed by NC to optimize cutting time and saw blade life.
Other innovations of recent years are new models TOP 1000, TOP 2100, TOP 1100r1 and TOP 2000r1 always combined with special applications such as robots, external working and checking stations, washing tunnel, etc.
Since the 2010 the company name is “Sinico Machine Tool Manufacturing S.r.l.” and employs a staff of approximately 50 people.
For over 50 years, the company continues to pursue a serious policy based on research and innovation by finalizing efforts for new solutions and ideas for a dynamic and constantly expanding market.
